BEFORE YOU SAY: THIS ****ING OLD CAR SUCKS! PLEASE READ THIS:

OH YA:(almost forgot)
Please don't use any part of this car to make your own without my permission. You may distribute the unmodified AR file freely along with this readme. Yadda yadda yadda.
But I'm SERIOUS when I say: don't pass this car off as your own! PLEASE!

- Dacia 1300 (Orange,Red,Blue,Yellow)
- Scratch made car

Features
======

This is a very rare car to find outside of Romania. Very few Dacia 1300's have been exported to other countries. You can find more information on Dacia and other Romanian cars at http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Downs/4582/

Model: Scratch-made, although I haven't made it extremely detailed

Sounds: Also scratch-made, I think they suit the car very well. The horn especially, pay close attention to it because that's the EXACT horn sound of the Dacia 1300!

Handling: I have tried to imitate the real car as much as possible. Although the acceleration may seem SLUGGISH at first, I timed it myself and it goes from 0 to 60 MPH in 14 seconds, as it's supposed to. For more tuning info, visit http://www.home.zonnet.nl/g.vogel/doc.html

==DETAILS ON HANDLING==
===================

The car accelerates from 0 to 60 MPH in 14 seconds. I have attempted to make the tuning as close as possible to the real car. The car that I've used for tuning as a reference is the Renault 12 Gordini (TS), with 1 passenger and 20 L in tank. Manual and automatic transmission is 4 gears, like the original Renault 12 Gordini from 1970. If you're wondering why I'm not using Dacia tuning, and why Renault, it's because Dacia 1300, 1310, and 1410 are carbon-copies of the Renault 12 Gordini, under license from Renault itself, since 1966, when the Renault 8 was licensed for production as Dacia 1100. Anyway, back to tuning, the turning may seem a little on the unresponsive side, but that's simply because I've also imitated the car's front engine and front-wheel drive. Most cars in MM2 with front wheel drive also turn awkwardly. The handbrake is only applied to the back because this is how it says in the car's specifications, but you can really get some neat handbrake turns and powerslides, once you get accustomed to it. I have made the car turn in a slightly smaller turning circle than the real car, because I often found that the car was unable to turn the tough tight turns in MM2. The braking is also realistic, but I've made it a little stronger than real life because the car simply didn't brake well enough when a traffic car stopped (and you know how they can stop very suddenly). The damage is quite a lot more than this car can actually take, but that's because if I made it realistic I'd get damaged out by the traffic cars too easily at red lights.

Damage textures: None. I think they're not needed for legal cruising, and I think this car can only be used for legal cruising because of its high degree of tuning realism. I've tried making damage textures, but I found that at the first crash, the car would already appear fully damaged, so I figured it wasn't worth it.

Headlights / Tail lights: Fully working and carefully aligned & sized.

Dashboard: No, but I've made an interesting in-car view (the near view, when pressing 'c') which shows a sort of dashboard and the front hood of the car, very closely resembling a real life in-car view, except for the windshield. I will try to make a dashboard and other features for the next release of this car (which will be in August).

BreakOff Parts: None. Just didn't have the time for 'em.

Notes
==========
I was inspired to create this car because my dad had this car when I was a child back in Romania. I got really attached to it and I still think it's the best car ever made. It's mostly because of the adventures that happened due to this car. Many things broke very easily and frequently, and often the engine overheated and needed cooling, it was really fun! Well, I hope in future versions of MM2 the engine can overheat or get randomly damaged, or whatever other crazy things, because that would be really fun.

This is an excellent car, in my opinion, for legal cruising! Not too fast, not too slow.

WHAT TO EXPECT
In the future

========

In August, I will release my Dacia Evolution, Golden Era. It will contain Dacia 1300, 1310, and 1410, in both sedan and sports versions (with racing decals!).
In September, look forward to my Dacia Evolution, Classic Era, containing Dacia 1100 (the very first Dacia!), and my Dacia Evolution, Modern Era, containing Dacia Nova, Dacia SupeRNova, and Dacia X90 (a future model coming in 2004!). The Dacia Evolution pack will contain both sedan and sports versions of the cars, and the tuning will gradually improve as the years go by. It will be very similar to the NFS Porsche Unleashed release made by EA.
In October, I will begin work on my legal cruise mod which will also feature traffic Dacias. In short, there's a lot to come!

Enjoy this wonderful car! (I'm planning to buy one myself if I have the money/time/resources, but they're extremely rare.)
